The “Sudbury 250 Committee” is planning Sudbury’s celebration of the 250th Anniversary of Patriots Day and the American Revolutionary War. Events and programs will be held in Sudbury and other communities during the 15 months from April 19, 2025 to July 4, 2026. Your input will help us plan the best celebration possible.
On Monday, April 19, 2025 the Town of Concord will be having a 250th Anniversary celebration centered on the Concord Bridge area. The Town of Sudbury could also have a celebration that day to commemorate the Sudbury Minute Men who fought there.
What celebration would you expect to attend on April 19, 2025?
One event under consideration to be held in Sudbury on April 19, 2025 would have three main parts: 1) Seeing the Sudbury Minute Men set off on their march to Concord at 5:45am from Town Center, 2) A breakfast afterwards at First Parish Meetinghouse in Town Center, then 3) Taking a historic walking tour of Town Center.
